Freeze and Trips

I love the classes we take and the exercises we get to do.My favorite one is a game called Freeze. The freeze game is an exercise where 2 or more people create a scene and at any point another actor outside the scene can "Freeze" the scene and take the place of a player and create a whole new scene. One of my all time favorite games in CALLE.

In addition we recently went on a trip to the "International center of photography" and saw an exhibit by Susan Meiselas who took photos during a civil war in Nicaragua during the 70's. We also saw photos of people taken in the late and early 18 and 1900's.We later went to the school of the international center of photography and saw how the photos are made and put together.

Fun Skits(scenes)

Well, these can be funny, sad, or weird scenes. I like to call it a skit because I like to do some funny acts.

Scene Improvisation is sort of a game in which two people have to use an object, place or a theme and create any type of scene.
For example:
"Wants to be Free", "Convince someone not to do something" or "Bacon"(I like Bacon, so please don't find it weird). Both actors (or actors and actress, etc...) have use use one of these in their scene.
Note: There are no scripts, but it helps to have something to start and end the scene. Besides that, it can be as entertaining as one could want it.

Neutral Scene is another way to practice ones acting skill and be a bit more creative. Both actors have to have constant focus, listen and understand each other. Neutral scenes consist of an A and B scene of neutral lines. Both actors must use these lines in anyway they want, but there can't be no adding, changing words or changing the order of the lines.
For example:
A. Yes
B. No
A. Yes
B. No, No Yes
A.No
B.Yes
Note: The last two lines can be tricky.
